Guangdong Jiangmen Shipyard Co., Ltd was reorganized from the former Guangdong Jiangmen Shipyard Co., Ltd., which was established 47 years ago in 1954. During the enterprise system conversion, the shipyard factory was completely purchased over by Guangdong Tianjian Group in July, 1997, which was then transformed into Guangdong Jiangmen Shipyard Co., Ltd., a company affiliated to Tianjian Group.

   The company is located at Jiangmen, a city at Pearl River Delta, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, with convenient in land and water traffic. The company has an area of 180,000 square meters, with a construction area of 67,000 square meters. With reasonable layout and complete state-of-the-art equipments, the plant was set up with total value of assets of RMB133 million and registered capital of RMB300 million. The factory now has a staff of more than 500 employees, of which are 150 plus professionals, being one of the leading professional companies in Guangdong province specialized in ship design, production and steel structure design, production and installation.

    Our company has A-grade ship design qualification, able to undertake various medium-small ships design and production. With advanced processing technology, the company is good at subsection shipbuilding, integrated lofting, hydraulic pressure, wide span steel structure processing, production and installation. Recently the company has established a computer center, the computers are gradually adopted in technical design and production management. The existing facilities and equipments in the company include: one 120×60m processing and assembling plant (indoor); two 78×24m building berths (indoor)，3 open building berths, 3 three boatyard, one brand new steel plate pretreatment production line and one steel structure production assembling line, four outdoor gantry cranes and other 30 plus indoor cranes, and more than 600 processing equipments, such as 650 model large lathe, 20 modulus hobbing machine, steel plate edge milling machine, hydraulic press, high frequency pipe bender, H type steel flange leveling machine, including crack detection equipment, etc. At present the company has developed with a certain scale in ship design, production, processing, ship repairing and steel structure processing, production and installation to provide chainlike co-ordination of auxiliary and processing services. The factory boasts annual throughput of 25,000 tons of ships and 20,000 tons of steel structure processing, production, and installation.
